Nicoderm CQ Review | Quit Smoking Comparison

Nicoderm CQ Review

Review: Nicoderm CQ is one of the most well advertised and best-selling products on the market. Often referred to as “The Patch,” Nicoderm is also probably one of the oldest and most established names in the quit smoking product market. But reputation and sales history do not necessarily translate to product effectiveness.

So let’s examine how Nicoderm CQ works. It is a transdermal patch, which means it operates by transferring ingredients through pores in the skin. The advantage to this method is that its effects are felt for long periods lasting from 1-3 days, depending on the chemicals it contains. Thus in the case of Nicoderm, the user only needs to remember to replace the patch every 16-24 hours. As you can see, this is an extremely convenient way to reduce cigarette cravings.

But there is one major flaw to Nicoderm that actually prevents its user from quitting. The flaw is, understandably, that this stop smoking patch contains Nicotine. By continuing to deliver Nicotine to the body, the Nicoderm patch prevents its users from kicking the Nicotine habit and thus quitting smoking. Therefore, because so many Nicoderm users have failed to quit, we don’t recommend this product. But for smokers who want to quit with a stop smoking patch, products like Zero Nicotine (reviewed below) are much more effective for serious quitters.

Couldn’t agree more. I’ve tried nicotine gums, lozenges and patches. None of that stuff works at all. I always went back to smoking. I actually used an e-cigarette for a while. But when I finally was able to quit it was with the Zero Nicotine patch. It’s funny how almost nobody mentions that you can’t quit smoking without quitting nicotine. Keep up the good work!

Nicoderm side effects should also be mentioned too. When I flew to Paris last summer I took some to use on the long planeride. Although I bought the lowest dosage, my heart started to beat so fast I felt like I was going to have a heart attack for about an hour! Nicotine is a lot stronger than I thought!

Yeah people don’t even know that tobacco companies and these Nicotine patch companies work together and keep people addicted. Where else do you think they get the Nicotine from?

Another guy I work with and I went on the patch together. Not Nicoderm but the generic ones from the drugstore. We both didn’t need to smoke at all while we were on them. But then later, he quit the patch and ended up smoking again. I tried to stay on the patch for another month, but when I stopped the cravings came right back. Cold turkey off Nicotine is the only thing that works. Don’t waste your money on Nicotine patches!

OMG!!!! I have use Nicoderm CQ for the past 15 days and was so excited that I quit. Telling everyone to use it because it works. Now I have to repost on Facebook about the Zero Nicotine. I just spent $50 on the new box Sunday..I can’t believe this..That is so true about getting off the addition of nicotine..Wow I guess if I didn’t read this, I would be searching for a product to get me off of Nicoderm CQ!!!! Good Luck everyone and thanks for the comments!!
