Commit Lozenges Review
Review: Commit’s lozenges are another example of a well-marketed product. Like Nicotine gums, Commit’s lozenges are a favorite solution for smokers who seek to replace the oral fixation aspect of smoking. But a strong sales history does not necessarily translate to product effectiveness. Additionally, Commit lozenges side effects can far outweigh their benefits. But to understand this, we investigate how Commit lozenges work. Like a typical cough drop, the lozenge delivers a slow release of the active ingredient by oral ingestion while it remains in the user’s mouth. The advantage to this method is that its effects are felt nearly as quickly as a regular cigarette. So with Commit lozenges, the user can satisfy cravings as frequently as he would normally smoke a cigarette. Unfortunately, because each user dissolves the lozenge in his mouth at different speeds, this method can lead to an overdose of Nicotine. Symptoms of a Nicotine overdose include shaking, irritability, diarrhea and extreme anxiety. Another disadvantage to taking Commit lozenges is that they contain Nicotine, the same active ingredient in cigarette smoke. Obviously, by continuing to deliver Nicotine to the body, Commit lozenges do very little to prevent users from quitting their addiction. So because of this fact, we don’t recommend this product and continue to advise quitters that natural quit smoking products work best. These solutions not only eliminate Nicotine side effects, but kill the addiction immediately. As an example, the Smoke Deter throat spray and supplement combination are reviewed below. Like Commit, it is taken orally, but Smoke Deter contains no Nicotine. Our commenters have had a great deal of success with this product. Strength: The lozenges come in varying strengths with 2mg for light smokers or 4mg for heavier ones. Starting with a lighter strength is advisable, as the body’s absorption of Nicotine may vary according to the manner of your use.
Value: Commit lozenges may be found as low as $34.00 in packages of 72. This amount can last up to 18 days for a very light smoker.
Results: Products like Commit that contain Nicotine do not generally have high rates of success. One report for example shows that perhaps 3% of users actually quit smoking for good.
Speed of Results: Commit lozenges deliver Nicotine to the body almost instantly, a very good speed.
Side Effects: Products like Commit may cause anxiety or panic attacks if used improperly. One should take care in finding the correct dosage.
User Satisfaction: While Commit lozenges suppress cigarette withdrawal effects by immediately delivering Nicotine, their overall effectiveness is very poor by most accounts because they do nothing to work on the Nicotine addiction itself.

This product is another example of American foolishness. Trying to quit smoking by taking Nicotine in another form, genius! It reminds me of when McDonalds tried to reinvent itself with a “healthy” menu, when they knew full well that anyone who visits McDonalds is going to buy a cheese burger.
Do yourselves a favor and use a natural product. Forget Nicotine!
